Founded In 1989

Hear the Lord Ministries (HLM) was inspired by the Holy Spirit through Dr. ‘Tayo Emmanuel the ministry’s president on the 9th day of March 1989.

The Word in the world

In the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are to pray that the will of God already settled in the heaven be done or established here on earth by the power of God’s word and THE WORD is God. For the Kingdom of God (the ruler) and heaven (the sphere where He ruled from) in indeed at hand.

Voice of the Lord

Hear the Lord Ministries is about declaring The Voice of the Lord, which is the word of God, speaking as the oracle of God. The voice of the Lord when heard is full of God’s revealed TRUTHS that makes men free, it is transformational and ultimately powerful and glorious. The earth must hear His voice to be full of His matchless GLORY.

He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Hear The Lord Ministries (HLM) is a global corporate bureau of God’s Remnant Assembly Mission Squad (GRA Mission Squad) passionate about taking on the world’s toughest challenges (evangelism, soul winning, Church plant, humanitarian ministry, global development, leadership and missions to the unreached) by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God fleshed out in this world. Being in the world and not of the world is our core commitment.

The Purpose

Our prime purpose is to live a life that only glorifies God. This is our highest motivation and all-encompassing purpose. We press forward towards perfection in Christ Jesus, the price of the high calling of God. We strive to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ being holy as our heavenly Father is holy.

We do the work of the ministry by planting, strengthening, and partnering with Churches around the world.

In fulfilling our ministry, we recognize that the Church is the spiritual body of Christ here on earth, God’s primary means of relating to and transforming the world.
